Hello! As E.J. has stated before, I’m Bethanne from Clever Titles Are So Last Summer and I am watching over this blog with lots of love for the next few days. I won’t break anything (I promise), but I do have some good songs lined up for consumption here and hopefully it’ll make E.J. proud.

First up is a band that is getting ready to tour with Cursive in the next few weeks: LaSalle. Hailing from my hometown of Lansing, MI, this three-piece combines alternating boy-girl vocals amid hard-tinged indie rock. You might recognize a few faces as Mike (guitars/vocals) and Dan (drums/keyboard) used to play in Small Brown Bike. Alongside with Katy (bass/vocals), their sound is raw and emotional and very grand coming from three people. Their album Expedition Songs is an amazing release that deserves a listen. Lucky for you guys, I have one of the tracks you can listen to and then do yourself a favor and buy the album.
