I was sure I needed to get my eyes checked when I read that folk-pop legends Chad & Jeremy would be appearing at the Folk Alliance Conference this year. I was stunned. “THE Chad Stuart & Jeremy Clyde? Could it be? ‘Distant Shores’? ‘A Summer Song’? No!” Before the thoughts could be completely formulated, I was told that yes, in fact, they would be attending and I could rest assured I would be surprised.

Even 40 years later, it’s as if time stood still when you hear them. These guys were so good, it made everyone in the audience fahrklempt. If you love indie pop or folk pop, you owe it to yourself to see Chad & Jeremy performing live in a city near you, and here’s the proof.

And they look as good as they sound. I sure wish I was aging as gracefully.

As lovely as this video is, it does not fully capture the beauty and sheer Joy of experiencing them again in person.

Chad has so beautifully matured as a musician…and the absolute charm they each exude…well, that’s matured also.

In short…they are delightful. The concert had me laughing a lot and even shedding a few tears at one point.

If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to experience Chad and Jeremy performing, I urge you to go….and take a friend.

Oh, this is gorgeous! Thank you for posting. I do wish there was not an Atlantic Ocean between us, I am still trying to get there.

This has got to be the most romantic love song ever written and after all these years it still gives me chills to hear it sung. Even now, it sounds wonderful with just the two guitars. Both of them sound wonderful as well. Keep it up guys! It’s great to be still listening to all your beautiful music.
