According to this story from Engadget, DRM issues can be stripped away with the installation of FairUse4WM v1.3 Fix 2, a program created by Doom9 forums user Viodentia (the subject of a recently-dropped lawsuit by Microsoft) or one of her brethren who have unleashed this fix into the wild.
