Our great American songwriter, Marc Cohn, wrote that his feet were "ten feet off of Beale". This indicates to me not that Marc Cohn was writing about drinking, but rather about being high out of his mind. How the hell else do you explain him stumbling into church and telling a woman who asks him if he's a Christian, "Ma'am, I am tonight!"

And if he did this, why was he in church at night? Or is church a euphemism for something else? Why would the woman be asking him if he was Christian in the first place? THESE QUESTIONS MUST BE ANSWERED!

You can drink on the street in Memphis! Marc Cohn wrote a song about it! His songs suck, but I'd lick him in special places! I'd do virtually anything that wouldn't harm my credit rating! Vote Nader/Barr 2011!
