When Childish Gambino gets remixed by Treasure Fingers, it’s time to get on the good foot and wear your bad leg out on the dancefloor. Nothing less is revealed here, so get to gettin’ busy already!

Look, if you decide to know nothing else about the history of house music, know that there is only one dance music superproducer/remixer/DJ/founding father of true Chicago House Music that goes by the name of Derrick Carter. If you’ve been paying attention all year, you know there is also only one Harlem native fire spitter named Azealia Banks whose special brand of house music/hip-hop fusion has blown up everywhere in 2011.

Via his Soundcloud, Derrick has given us all access to not one but TWO Christmas gifts surrounding said track — first, for just a few more hours you can grab the “212 vs BHQ” version (the one that Derrick himself spins live). If that wasn’t enough, Derrick just posted up with the DJ Bang instrumental version, titled (appropriately) “312″!

Take a listen to this blistering new deep house track from Lisbon-born Munich resident Alkalino entitled “Ruinas”. Groove detectives have been called to the scene of this track attempting to determine how late the party went & how much fun occurred.

THEM JEANS is doing it again, deconstructs & reworks pieces of the original dance version of this classic & very recognizable song “Vogue” into another incarnation as a smoldering taste of house. Even while deconstructing Madonna may seem like it’s been done, I think this track is guaranteed to shift the gears on a party if used properly. Clear a path, pose strikers are on the move.

Now, if you read regularly, you know: Philly-style horn-funk house-disco is something I can’t get enough of. Without knowing anything specific about this track, where it came from or who played on it, I’m going to assume it’s a re-edit of a classic disco track that I’m not familiar with. If he got musicians together to record this, I know a lot of people who are going to want to hear more.

Whatever it is, I’m sold.

Coffee & Cars by Ajello

What I like about this “Dub Piano Tool” track is two fold: one, the sample which I recognized immediately from “Funkin’ For Jamaica” by Tom Browne is almost indiscernible unless you know the song really well. There’s an industrial quality to the vocal interspersed towards the end of the track. At it’s core, though, is a nearly perfect execution of acid house.

As a companion, I’m including a track from The Horses, a solid piece of disco-house entitled “Soul Tool #2″. Tell me what you think.
